PCC successfully maintains compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards

The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) has maintained its ISO 9001:2015 compliance following the successful completion of the first surveillance audit under its third certification cycle, conducted on October 1, 2025 by TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc.

The audit confirmed PCC’s continued compliance with international quality standards and validated the effective implementation of its Quality Management System across three core service areas: Competition policy formulation and regulatory enforcement under the Philippine Competition Act; Competition policy research, advocacy, and capacity building services; and Information and Communications Technology services. It also affirmed PCC’s alignment with ISO 9001:2015 principles, including risk-based thinking, process efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

This marks another significant milestone for the Commission, which received its initial ISO certification in 2018, just a few years after its formal establishment. It was followed by surveillance audits, including a scope extension audit. Across these years, PCC implemented continuous enhancements to client feedback tools, risk and opportunity registers, and readiness activities for the Philippine Quality Award, with further process alignment in 2022. The current certification remains valid until November 20, 2027, following the launch of the third audit cycle and the successful conduct of its first surveillance audit on October 1.

PCC continues to implement robust internal mechanisms to ensure that its systems remain efficient, responsive, and strategically aligned with organizational objectives.
