Acquisition by Macsteel Global S.à.r.l. B.V. of Shares in Macsteel International Holdings B.V.
ABSTRACT:
The target firm in the proposed transaction, Macsteel International Holdings B.V. (“MIHBV”), is a joint venture company whose shares are held 50% by Macsteel Global S.à.r.l. B.V. (“MacGlobal”) and 50% by MSSA Investments B.V. (“MSSA”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited (a company controlled by ArcelorMittal S.A.). MacGlobal will acquire the remaining 50% of the shares in MIHBV which it does not already own, from MSSA.
