of Shares in Microsemi Corporation
Microchip Technology Incorporated (Microchip) and Microsemi Corporation (Microsemi) have signed a definitive agreement pursuant to which Microchip, through Maple Acquisition Corporation, a wholly-owned and controlled subsidiary and a purpose-built investment vehicle of Microchip, will acquire Microsemi for US$68.78 per share in cash.
