The Philippine Competition Commission proudly joins the National Privacy Commission (NPC) in celebrating Privacy Awareness Week (PAW) 2026. Proclamation No. 527, signed on July 3, 2018, declares the last week of May of every year as “National Data Privacy Awareness Week” in the Philippines. This annual observance serves as a vital reminder of our collective duty to protect personal information and uphold the fundamental right to privacy in our increasingly digital society.
