The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) proudly joins the nationwide celebration of Privacy Awareness Week (PAW) 2025, observed every last week of May in accordance with Proclamation No. 527, s. 2012. This annual observance, spearheaded by the National Privacy Commission (NPC), serves as a timely reminder of the vital role that privacy plays in building trust, safeguarding individual rights, and fostering a secure digital environment. As an institution mandated to promote fair market competition and uphold public welfare, the PCC recognizes that protecting personal data is not only a legal obligation but also a fundamental aspect of good governance and ethical public service.
